Cold winter or not, the Grote Markt in Gorinchem will again be transformed into a winter experience this Christmas. The cozy indoor ice rink around the fountain returns this year for the 17th time. Also this year various activities are organized on and around the ice rink.

The Gorcums Winterfestijn is daily from December 14, 2024 to January 5, 2025 from 10:00 - 21:00.

Experience the Christmas vacations in the atmospheric setting of Slot Loevestein. The castle is transformed into a 19th-century Christmas decor with beautifully decorated rooms such as the Keucken and the Great Zael. Thousands of lights sparkle in the fortress and warm stories bring the cold winter season to life. On 27, 28 and 29 December, enjoy fire pits, Old Dutch games, live music and winter delicacies.

On 24, 25 and 26 December you can enjoy the Christmas Classics Dinner at Restaurant LoeV, where classic Van der Valk dishes are on the menu. In Restaurant Bar Stein, Stein's Christmas Special awaits you: an extensive 4 or 5-course dinner, carefully composed by our chef. Start your Christmas Day off right with an extensive Christmas breakfast or stay overnight during the holidays with our special Christmas package!
