Discover the area with an electric bicycle. Gorinchem offers various cycling routes that are located in a large river area. Cycle around the ferry and enjoy the view over the water, take the traditional Dutch cycle route and view the windmills of Gorinchem or cycle along the Dutch Waterline with its forts, castles and fortresses.

Gorinchem is one of the most beautiful fortified towns in the Netherlands. A walk in Gorinchem is definitely recommended during your stay. Take a walk on the ramparts and enjoy the view over the rivers. Walk the industrial heritage route and see the factories, ports, crafts and warehouses of Gorinchem. Or go back to the year 1672 and walk through the 'disaster year' of Gorinchem. Fancy a long nature walk? Then go to the Arkelpad. This traditional Dutch running route is 14 kilometers long and goes from Gorinchem to Arkel. Spot the 3 windmills and walk along the Linge river and the Merwede Canal. After the walk or bike ride you can relax again in the hotel.
