From Saturday, December 14, 2024 to Sunday, January 5, 2025 you can skate again on the Grote Markt in Gorinchem. The Gorcums Winterfestijn guarantees unforgettable Dutch winter fun! The ice rink is set up in winter atmospheres and offers fun for young and old, making it an ideal activity for a day out during the Christmas vacations. After a day of ice skating, enjoy a hot chocolate in our hotel.
Christmas shopping in the Fortress
Gorinchem is also the place to be for a day of shopping. In the modern shopping streets you can shop your favorite brands to your heart's content. On Saturday, December 21, 2024, the annual Santarun in Gorinchem will take place again! You will run 3 kilometers over the ramparts and through the city center. All this you do for charity and completely in style, because all participants wear a Santa suit. For people who want a shorter route, this year for the first time there is a Santa Walk route, where you cut a piece off. Also handy if you are in a wheelchair or stroller.
